    GorillaDesk gives you a company API key under Addons → API. Treat it like a password.

    1. Open Addons → API in GorillaDesk.
    2. Generate or copy your API key.
    3. Don’t text it to anyone. Don’t paste it into chat.

Yes. Copy your GorillaDesk API key, open Connect, paste it once, then copy the snippet into Claude, Cursor, or Codex. After that, you only ask business questions.

Can this mess up my customers or schedule?

No. It can look up customers, invoices, jobs, payments, and techs. It cannot create customers, change jobs, or take payments.

Where do my GorillaDesk credentials go?

When you use Connect, we verify the API key with GorillaDesk, encrypt it, and give you a connect token for your AI app. Treat that token like a password. Don’t paste the GorillaDesk API key into chat.

Where do I get my API key?

In GorillaDesk, open Addons → API, generate a company key, and paste it into Connect once. After that, you just ask questions.
